Bannerghatta National Park is a national park in Bangalore, Karnataka. It was established in 1970 and designated as a national park in 1974. The Bannerghatta Biological Park, a minor section of the park, was established in 2002.

Bannerghatta Biological Park is a unique ecologically significant territory located on the northern terminus of Mysuru Elephant Reserve. The Park plays an important role in the protection of rich floral and faunal variety, carbon sequestration, and regional hydrology.
